Amy Siracusano, MS Ed. is a Literacy Integration Learning Specialist with Calvert County Public Schools in Maryland. Amy has been a public-school educator for 20 years teaching in both New York and Maryland as a classroom teacher, Learning Specialist, Title I teacher, Dean of Students, and a Vice Principal. She has a wealth of experience in instructional coaching, planning and delivering professional development, as well as being an interventionist and advocate for struggling learners.

Amy has presented at the National Title I Conference, North Dakota State Title I and Special Education Conference, DC-IDA, and The Reading League. She is an advisory board member for The Reading League committee, chairperson for Maryland State Department of Education Reading Work Group working to revise the four required reading courses for teacher certification, a teacher member for Decoding Dyslexia Maryland, and an appointed member of Governor Hogan’s Maryland Task Force for a Dyslexia Education and Pilot Program (ended Fall 2016).
